Junction Auto Services has been in Alexandra for over 18 years, it was originally located in Centennial Avenue, but moved up to it’s current location in Boundary Road in 2003. In 2005 the current owners Tony and Jackie Smith, in partnership, took over the reins. In September 2011 Tony and Jackie became sole owners after their partners in the business were ready to move on to another adventure.
Tony and Jackie live in Clyde with their two daughters Jasmine and Caycee and have been in Central Otago for more than 16 years having moved up from Southland.
Tony has been tinkering with cars since he was a teenager and went straight from school into training to be an Automotive Technician. Now with more than 20 years experience under his belt, he is not only A grade qualified, but extremely experienced in all aspect of the trade. He makes sure the workshop flows smoothly and is the man to see for all your vehicle or boat requirements.
Jackie has always been involved in customer service or office management for most of her working life and whilst working most of her day at the local Council, she takes care of all the paper work that is required behind the scenes to keep Junction Auto Services ticking along.
As a family the Smith’s enjoy the outdoors, 4-wheel driving, boating, swimming and anything that involves a little adrenaline! The Central Otago landscape suits them down to the ground.
Steve Hills has been with Junction Auto Services for over 15 years, he has more than 35 years experience in the motor industry and really knows his stuff. He may be an Aussie by birth, but he has probably seen more of our local landscape than many who were born here. Steve is an avid 4-wheel driver, loves model train making and loves to tinker with anything and everything that has an engine.
Quentin Annan (or ‘Q’ as he is called) is the new comer to Junction Autos, but he’s not new to cars. He started in the trade in 1979, had a break truck driving for few years and has been back on the tools since. Born and breed in Central Otago he and his wife Kerrin have two grown children and are now proud grandparents. Quentin is a keen rower and mountain biker and you find him on the lake all year round. They are keen caravaners taking lots of trips to the McKenzie Country especially if there is a rowing event on.
Kerry Earland has been the Receptionist since 2010. Kerry takes care of all the day-to-day tasks in the office such as invoicing, banking, receipting and bookings. Kerry is the glue that holds everything together and keeps the place running like a finely oiled machine. Along with her husband Kerry spends a lot of her time chasing her three girls round at dance lessons, gymnastics festivals and dance competitions.
Making sure their customers are totally satisfied is the main focus for the team at Junction Auto Services and they pride themselves on their customer service, offering FREE pick up and delivery of your vehicles within Alexandra and Clyde and making sure they maintain a high standard of work at a fair price.
